The Hockessin Memorial Hall is situated in the middle of the quaint Village of Hockessin, Delaware; centrally located between the Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD metropolitan areas.
We host a wide range of special events and have been doing so for nearly 45 years. Although our look and our menu have changed in that time, our warm welcoming atmosphere has not.
You will feel welcome from the moment you enter our lobby. From the gorgeous sitting area to the newly remodeled banquet hall, we also feature an elevated stage area, large beautiful dance floor, mood lighting wall sconces and much more!
Our spacious facility offers 8,000 square feet of space that comfortably accommodates up to 350 guests. We offer a wide variety of menu choices along with a full bar to complement the needs of your event. All food is prepared on site and is served by our professional and courteous staff that caters to you and your guests every need.
Our Event Coordinator/Banquet Manager will be more than happy to assist you through each step of the planning of your special day. Our menu is not limited to the selections listed in the brochures. Our chef will be more than happy to accommodate your special request. We also provide upscale decorating options that can be color coordinated for your event.

Meet the Manager
Our Banquet Manager, Sherri Roser, started with us in 1999 and has coordinated hundreds of quality events since. Sherri provides the utmost in service and works diligently to meet all of the needs of our customers. Starting from choosing a date for your event, Sherri will assist in selecting the menu, designing the layout of tables, decorations, and will also coordinate outside vendors ( DJ’s, Cakes…etc.) to make your event as worry free as possible.
